VOLUNTEER FOR AN EVENT
There are many opportunities for your students family members to be involved at our school.
​
We welcome and encourage volunteers to register for fundraising events and in the classroom with the teachers.
​
Please call the Main Office to get started as a volunteer with Portola Elementary School. If you have any questions about the different levels of volunteering or want more information about volunteering with VUSD you may also email Dr. GarciaYoshitomi.​

STAY INFORMED
WITH THE PARENT SQUARE APP
The Parent Square app is your direct connection to VUSD.

Dr. Garcia, our school principal, will send most of her communication to families from this app, as well as district wide notifications.
CALLING ALL 5TH GRADE FAMILIES!
We are recruiting family members of the Portola Class of 2024 to help us plan the activities we host to help celebrate the incredible achievement of 5th Grade Promotion.
​
This committee will focus specifically on the 5th grade activities,
allowing the FFO to spend more time on school wide activities.
The Fifth Grade Families Committee will do things such as:

Help collect Photos for the 5th grade section of the year book

Plan the 5th Grade Dance and other activities that are specific to the 5th grade class level

Make the final year at Portola Elementary special for our graduating class by keeping an open communication line between 5th grade families and FFO
By joining this mailing list you are consenting tp receive 5th grade specific emails and other communications. A member of the 5th grade committee is not an approved volunteer through VUSD. A 5th grade committee member's role is to communicate with the PFFO about events and needs for the graduating class. If you want to volunteer at the school, please visit the main office for more information.
